Hi and welcome to our website.
We initially purchased our alpacas after our chicken coop was attacked and many were killed, alpacas provide a fantastic deterrent to predators and have been protecting our chickens faithfully ever since. With any animal you need to properly care and provide for it, our alpacas are treated with the utmost care and our alpaca pods are specifically designed to be the perfect shelter for alpacas. We received a lot of outside interest and now manufacture and deliver our alpaca pods across the UK and beyond.
For many years, we have been providing alpaca pods. We continue to improve our products based on customer feedback and needs. There are many new designs now, including llama pods, open-ended alpaca pods, and larger 10ft wide Pods. We also have Pods with porches. These are very popular. Our Pods are used to house sheep, goats and logs and can even come with storage for sit own lawnmowers.
Fowberry Benedict and Mayfield Che, our stud males, have produced many impressive Alpacas. These Alpacas include Australian genetics from Jolimont Conquistador and Jolimont Warrior as well as Jolimont Commisario, Jolimont Stephano, Purrumbete Higher, Jolimont Stephano, Jolimont Commisario and Jolimont Stephano. Every year, we are thrilled about our cria. We have introduced new elite genetics with our preferred Australian bloodlines. We continue to build our herd, and have purchased Popham Appaloosa Helios from Sandhills as well as Chalford Harlequin’s Abstract. We look forward to breeding Appaloosa & Harlequin alpacas. No matter what type of alpaca you have we have an alpaca pod that is perfectly designed for your needs.

We are continually developing new ideas, one of which is our Alpaca Pods. The reasons behind theses Pods is we couldn’t find anything on the market that would be suitable for the Alpaca’s wellbeing. We have been supplying the Pods now for several years and based on customers positive feedback and requirements we keep evolving. We now have several new designs of Pods, including open ended pods, llama pods and larger 10ft wide Pods and even Pods with porches, these are proving to be very popular. We find our Pods used for sheep, goats, logs stores and even storage for sit on lawnmowers.
These are all exclusively designed, manufactured and erect on site by the Sandhills Alpacas team. We are very pleased now to have the protected designs for our pods and the UK Registered Design Number are 6031339, 6031340 and 6031342.
